Began by inheriting a recently launched Flutter mobile application and a GraphQL JavaScript proxy. Our initial focus involved enhancing these existing systems to lay the groundwork for future advancements.
Conducted a thorough Project Audit and Due Diligence, evaluating various vendor SaaS systems and accelerators and outlining a vision for the evolution of the Comoclub loyalty platform by proposing a new system architecture which identified key components essential for its growth, including the revamped CRM system, new Como Group business unit and merchant integrations, and design of new system components such as Merchant app, Customer facing mobile and web apps, Edge and IoT systems, marketing and customer support accelerators, microservices, data streaming, BI and Data Warehousing.
Spearheaded the development of the comoclub.com web app, using Next.js and Vercel, progressively enhancing its functionality with mobile app features.

Expanded the existing mobile application's reach into new markets such as Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, while continuously refining both mobile and web experiences and integrating with other COMO business units.
Implemented a completely new and enhanced customer facing mobile application using TypeScript, React Native, and Expo Application Services. We utilized Storybook for building UI components and pages in isolation.
Introduced a headless CMS system for static content management using Strapi.
Our approach emphasizes iterative enhancements, with plans to gradually introduce modernization initiatives such as revamping the Loyalty CRM system. For that purpose, we’ve been actively developing a robust serverless GraphQL middleware solution with a layered and modular architecture. This approach facilitates seamless integration with various data sources while adhering to the Backend For Frontend pattern utilized for multiple new front end applications. We are developing a flexible GraphQL schema to accommodate evolving client requirements, but at the same time enabling us to gradually transition and enhance the back end infrastructure without changing the contract.
Ongoing development of a new Merchant app.
Seamless integration and replacement of the legacy CRM system components, following Strangler Pattern approach with microservice architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
Implemented a rigorous testing methodology, complemented by static code analysis to uphold the highest code quality and security standards.
